About the Album
Ratt's Dancing Undercover, released in 1986, continues the band's blend of melodic hard rock, sharp guitar riffs, and polished production. The album includes “Dance,” “Slip of the Lip,” and “Body Talk,” with Warren DeMartini and Robbin Crosby's guitar work providing the band's signature combination of riff power and melodic leads. Stephen Pearcy's vocals and the rhythm section give the songs a direct, energetic feel, while the production reflects the arena-rock sound of the mid-1980s. The record followed Ratt's early commercial success and shows the group refining its songwriting without losing its hard-rock edge. This Japanese promotional LP is a collectible edition from the band's 1980s peak.
