About the Album
Styx’s Killroy Was Here (1983) is a concept album built around a futuristic story about technology, censorship, and a society that has outlawed rock music. The dramatic “Mr. Roboto” became the record’s signature song, while “Don’t Let It End” and “Heavy Metal Poisoning” show the band moving between polished pop-rock hooks and theatrical, keyboard-rich arrangements. Its narrative and stage-like presentation make it one of Styx’s most distinctive releases. This Japanese A&M LP is catalogued as AMP-28068 and includes an OBI.
