About the Album
Kiss's “Thrills in the Night” comes from the band's 1984 album Animalize and reflects the more melodic, polished hard-rock sound of its mid-1980s lineup. The song pairs a strong guitar riff with a dramatic chorus and the theatrical vocal style associated with Kiss. Mark St. John's guitar work and the band's tight rhythm section give the recording a sharp, energetic edge, while the arrangement is structured for rock-radio impact. This Japanese promotional single/EP is a collectible release from the period when Kiss were adapting their stage image and sound to the MTV-era hard-rock scene. The exact additional tracks, if any, should be confirmed from the physical label and sleeve.
