About the Album
Kiss released Hotter Than Hell in 1974, developing the band’s theatrical hard-rock sound through distorted guitars, heavy rhythms, and memorable choruses. Songs such as “Got to Choose,” “Parasite,” and “Let Me Go, Rock ’n’ Roll” show the group balancing raw energy with strong hooks. The album’s darker production and striking visual identity helped establish the early Kiss aesthetic.
