About the Album
Styx’s Man of Miracles (1974) reflects the band’s early hard-rock sound before the more elaborate progressive and arena-rock style of their later hits. The album combines heavy guitar passages with keyboard-led melodies and the group’s developing multi-vocal approach. It offers a useful look at Styx’s evolution in the mid-1970s and the foundations of the sound they would refine on subsequent records. This Japanese RCA LP is catalogued as RPL-6010 and includes an OBI.
