About the Album
Giuffria's Silk and Steel, released in 1986, is the band's second studio album and reflects the polished melodic hard-rock sound of the mid-1980s. Gregg Giuffria's keyboards are prominent throughout, supported by Craig Goldy's guitar work and David Glen Eisley's strong lead vocals. “I Must Be Dreaming” and “Love You Forever” showcase the group's blend of glossy synthesizer textures, guitar riffs, and big melodic choruses. The production favors clarity and atmosphere, giving the songs a radio-friendly finish while retaining the energy of a hard-rock band.
