🌿 Why is it called Silver Week?
Silver Week is the autumn counterpart to Japan's famous Golden Week in May.
This year's five-day holiday is particularly special because September 22 becomes a National Holiday between Respect for the Aged Day and the Autumnal Equinox Day. This connects the weekend with two national holidays, creating a five-day holiday period.
It is also the first five-day Silver Week since 2015 — 11 years ago!
📦 What does this mean for international orders?
During Silver Week, many businesses and government offices in Japan are closed or operating with reduced services.
For international vinyl collectors, this may mean that shipping and order processing can take a little longer than usual.
