Album Overview
Rubicon's self-titled album, released in the mid-1970s, reflects the American band's blend of melodic rock, funk, and soul-influenced arrangements. The group combines electric guitars with keyboards, layered vocals, and a groove-oriented rhythm section, creating a sound that sits between classic rock and the more polished West Coast styles of the era. Rubicon are best known for the song “I'm Gonna Take Care of Everything,” and their music offers a snapshot of the varied American rock scene of the 1970s. This Japanese LP edition is a worthwhile discovery for collectors who enjoy lesser-known classic-rock albums and period-specific sounds.
