Album Overview
Released in 1985, Behind the Sun finds Eric Clapton blending his blues guitar roots with a polished mid-1980s production style. The album moves between soulful ballads, melodic rock, and rhythm-driven tracks, with songs such as “Forever Man” showcasing Clapton’s crisp guitar tone and confident vocal delivery. Contributions from contemporary studio musicians give the record a clean, radio-ready sound without losing the blues phrasing at the heart of his playing. It represents an interesting point in Clapton’s solo career, balancing his traditional influences with the production trends of the decade. This Japanese LP edition is catalogued as P-13069; please check the photos and listing details for exact contents.
