Album Overview
Asia's self-titled 1982 debut brought together experienced musicians from progressive-rock groups to create a polished, arena-sized sound built around strong melodies, synthesizers, and powerful guitar riffs. The album became a major success, led by the enduring hit “Heat of the Moment.” “Only Time Will Tell” pairs atmospheric keyboards with an anthemic chorus, while “Sole Survivor” and “Wildest Dreams” showcase the band's energetic, tightly arranged rock. Balancing progressive musicianship with concise, radio-ready songwriting, Asia became one of the defining AOR albums of the early 1980s. This Japanese LP edition is a collectible way to enjoy the group's breakthrough release, with the obi and insert included as specified in the listing.
